Connection and data
Nafta stores your vehicles, fill-ups and trips only on your device; receipt reading (OCR) and the camera work on the device itself. If you want to see the nearest petrol stations, the app asks for your location (approximate or precise) only when you open the Petrol stations tab and only while the app is open; it is optional. Your location is not stored or sent to Nafta servers: your phone's system turns it into a postcode (Apple on iOS, Google's geocoder on Android) and distances are calculated on the device. Only the 2-digit province code reaches the Spanish Ministry fuel-price service (energia.serviciosmin.gob.es), which sees the request together with your IP address. No accounts, ads or analytics.
